The Latin Placement Service in the Classics Department at the University of Texas at Austin posts Latin teaching positions in public and private schools all over Texas and in nearby states. We also notify Latin teachers on our list who may be seeking employment.

St. Theresa Academy- Latin teacher needed, Sugar Land, TX

St. Theresa Academy, a parochial school in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, is currently looking for a Latin teacher to teach our 1st thru 4th grade Latin classes for the 2008-2009 school year. St. Theresa Academy is a Catholic School committed to the ideals of classical education. Applicants, then, must be Catholics who appreciate the distinctives of a Liberal Arts education. A bachelor degree is necessary in order to be considered for any teaching position.

Interested candidates are encouraged to send in their resume and cover letter along with three professional references to the Headmaster of St. Theresa Academy, Mr. Jonathan Beeson. Upon review, Mr. Beeson may schedule an initial interview with the applicant.
