Latin Placement Service

The Latin Placement Service in the Classics Department at the University of Texas at Austin posts Latin teaching positions in public and private schools all over Texas and in nearby states. We also notify Latin teachers on our list who may be seeking employment.

Southlake, Texas- Carroll High School Latin Teacher

Carroll is a great school district with intelligent, hard-working students. The administrators are very supportive of our program. There are two full time Latin teachers.l Last year, one teacher taught Latin I, II, and II honors (stayed on one campus). The other taught Latin III and IV (AP) (traveled between the high and senior high).

We use the Cambridge curriculum (Units 1 and 2 in Latin I, Unit 3 in Latin II, and Unit 4 plus additional readings in Latin III.
