Teach Latin to Kindergartners? Are you crazy?

If the idea of teaching Latin to a 5 year old doesn’t scare you, perhaps we should talk.

The Cardinal Newman School is a Houston based, independent school dedicated to teaching children in grades K-8 the roots of their Catholic faith and of the Western Culture in which they live. We believe that the knowledge of the Greek and Latin language and culture is a key to that mission.

As the head of our Latin and Greek program, you would help us continue to improve in setting direction for the curriculum, lead classroom instruction and creatively engage our students in the wonders of the ancient languages and culture. You would also play an integral role in building our schools future as a place for Catholic families to send their children to learn their roots.
