The Latin Placement Service in the Classics Department at the University of Texas at Austin posts Latin teaching positions in public and private schools all over Texas and in nearby states. We also notify Latin teachers on our list who may be seeking employment.

Latin Teacher- Georgia

A private, college-prep school in Georgia has an immediate vacancy for a Latin teacher. Teaching duties include Latin I-IV.

In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in the full life of the school by coaching athletic teams or supervising extracurricular activities.

Location: Coastal Georgia

Work Begins: November, December 2005 or January 2006.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree with at least a minor in Latin or Classics. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong academic record. Teacher certification not required.
