The Accelerated Schools Centers |

We are a comprehensive school improvement movement comprised of three original Accelerated Schools Project (ASP) satellite centers. Our centers are committed to the philosophy and process of the accelerated schools model as developed by founder, Henry M. Levin, and outlined in the Accelerated Schools Resource Guide (1993).
Each of our university-based centers serves specific geographic areas and provides training, mentoring and technical assistance for schools and school districts. The full-time directors of each center adhere to the accelerated school training model (based on best practices and scientifically based research). We are committed to cooperatively maintaining the fidelity of the ASP model and advancing a school improvement process that has been evaluated independently and shown strong results in both national and regional assessments (see our individual websites for results).
Our collective work spans more than 30 years of guiding schools in the implementation of the accelerated school model, addressing all eleven statutory components of comprehensive school reform (CSR). Combined the three centers have worked with over 500 (pre-K-12) public, private, and charter schools in their transformation process and in which enrichment strategies replaced remediation.
