Other Successes |

- Of the seventy-nine Texas
schools participating in the Comprehensive
School Reform High School Initiative, the
Accelerated Schools Project is the most
prevalent model.
- Ninety-seven percent
of all schools in the Southwest Center
network met the required Annual Yearly
Progress (AYP) standard, compared to 81%
statewide. (2001-2003)
- Sixty percent of schools
in the Accelerated Schools Project of five
or more years were rated by the Texas Education
Agency as exemplary. (2002-2003)
- Twenty-five
percent of third year schools rated
exemplary in comparison to the overall
state rate of 14%.
