Introduction |

We are a relatively small, but growing, group of history enthusiasts with a particular interest in ancient Greek military affairs. The timeframe we generally focus on is the classical age of Greece, around 600BC-300BC. Many of our charter members include people from the Twentieth Legion, a group of people who have somehow evaded having their spirits crushed and now march around or reenact their lives as Roman legionnaires in some form or another. They bring to this message board a specialized knowledge of arms and armor, as well as tactics. We have professors that teach the subject for a living. We have students who ask questions for their classes. And we also have a lot of everyday people that just want to learn more. |
