That's the small version of the view from Turkey Peak. Click on it for the large version (632 Kb).
On the left side is the main dome of Enchanted Rock. Right of center is Freshman Mountain, with Buzzard's Roost behind it. At the right, the bed of Sandy Creek can be seen snaking off into the distance.
Located to the northeast of the main dome of Enchanted Rock, Turkey Peak is a craggy hill covered with granite boulders. This sort of hill is called a castle tor or castle koppie. The rock on Turkey Peak has more fractures than the rock on the dome, that is why the difference in shape.
