      My newest book, The Heart of Whiteness: Confronting Race, Racism and White Privilege, will be available in September from City Lights Books.
      My book on U.S. politics post-9/11 is Citizens of the Empire: The Struggle to Claim Our Humanity, was published in 2004 by City Lights Books.
      Recent articles and essays are online, including writings on 9/11 and the "war on terrorism", race, racism and white privilege, and gender, sexuality and pornography.
      A book based on this work, Writing Dissent: Taking Radical Ideas from the Margins to the Mainstream, is available from Peter Lang Publishing.
