This is a picture of Barbara and me.
Mama Bear work at Tanknology/NDE as their Human Resources and Risk Management Director and I, Papa Bear, am a Systems Analyst at the Help Desk at the University of Texas at Austin. Baby Bear is in first grade at Casis Elementary where she is growng like a weed. She enjoys being a Brownie - want any cookies?
Mim 'n Kim, shown here in Morocco in 1996, are planning a 2001 South American tour (Rio, Iguasu, Bs. As., Lima/Machu Pichu) and guess what? Barbara and I are going as well!
Bill, Susan, Christopher, and Casey are missionaries of civility to the untamed natives of Southern California.
Meanwhile in Lubbock, Beverly, when not baking, is in New York or Mexico doing whatever she pleases. Adios, Marvino - we miss you!
John and Carolyn Bass are doing quite well coping with the empty nest syndrome. Of course, just as I say this, Jack is back. "I'm home!". <Sarah> will be in Spain this year as she takes full advantage of a study abroad opportunity.
Tia Carolina is recovering from a serious shopping binge this Christmas here in Austin ("My name is Carolyn and I shop." " Hi Carolyn"). She is back in Mejico.
James is well in Austin where he supervises a crew at the Child Abuse Hotline. It would seem he and I both deal with abuse daily on the phone.
Kim and Bo are in Santa Fe. Some think Kim got into accounting in order to make a living. The truth is that it takes those number crunching skills to keep up with Bo's prowess on the basketball court. He is no stranger to the sports pages of New Mexico. All he needs to do now is to shave his head, and he'll be ready for the pros.
Hats off to the newly graduated Senor. Hip, hip, hooray!!!My fav cuz Hutch and his family Megan, Davis, Lanham, and sweet Shannon just moved back to Austin after a long stint in Las Vegas and a brief one in Bethesda, MD.
Jo Carol Pierce, playwrite, songstress, and
the second baddest girl to roll out of Lubbock and Guy Juke , artist, musician, and husband of the
second baddest girl to roll out of Lubbock are two Austin icons worth investigating.
Jukes' art as well as Jo Carols' records/projects are just an e-mail
away. Bill (who falls down 3-4 times a day) and Cheryl Logan live in Cumming
GA and, lets just say they have a suspiciously large collection of dogs. Molly
White and Jack Moore (check out his home
page) own several acres and two mule (headed sons, that is). Anne
Lewis (of Louis Black fame), Louis Black
(of Anne Lewis fame), and Eli (his fame stands alone) are friends destined (if
you believe Eli) to be relatives. Here is Tabi with
our favorite subject. There is no book long enough (Russian novels included)
to hold our love of MS. T. Shaun
Dawson is a game programming UNIX loving computer science student at U Tejas.
He is also a great guy.
