Eligibility Requirements:

To become a member, you must have a 3.5 gpa, and you must be living in a Whitis Court area dorm (Kinsolving, Whitis, Duren) the semester you join. If you fulfill these requirements, feel free to drop by our meetings or wait for an invitation!

Member Requirements:

PBK has a lifetime membership fee of $30 (which includes 1 PBK t-shirt). Only new members have to pay this fee. It's a lifetime membership fee so you won't ever have to pay again. However, if you want another PBK shirt, you will have to pay $12. The dues money will go towards the end-of-the-year initiation banquet and the scholarship we'll offer at the end of the semester.

Even if you move out of the Whitis Court area, you can still be a member of PBK.

Every semester, members have to obtain a certain number of points. If you get all your points, you will be invited to attend the end-of-the-year initiation banquet and will be eligible to apply for the PBK scholarship.

Social Events 1 pt/event
Committee involvement 2-4 pts

There are two committees in PBK:
Publicity committee headed by the secretary Sheran: makes posters for every PBK meeting and event
Fundraising committe headed by the treasurer Paige: plans the fundraisers (bake sales, restaurant fundraisers)

The amount of points you get for being on a committee depends on how much you participate. If you're interested, please email the committee leader.
