Students for Equity and Diversity (SED)

Purpose

The Student for Equity and Diversity area was established in the fall of 1995 with the sole purpose of designing and implementing diversity education programs for all students. SED also seeks to promote awareness and an appreciation of self and others through interactive exercises, discussions, video presentations, skits and peer facilitation. In addition we coordinate cultural activities with registered student organizations.

How to Join

Any student interested in making a difference can join SED. We meet in the Multicultural Information Center (MIC) to plan diversity programs and upcoming annual events.
