Longhorn Lockpicking Club

About Us

The Longhorn Lockpicking Club is a student organization at the University of Texas, Austin. Chartered in 2006 by Doug Farre, the club is the largest chapter of its parent organization, Locksport International.

The term 'locksport' was coined for the growing sport and hobby of lockpicking, and as a locksport club our goal is to provide a safe and responsible atmosphere for hobbyist lockpickers to share knowledge and experience while practicing their hobby.

All UT students, faculty and staff are welcome to join. All skill levels are welcome, especially newcomers to the hobby. Our meetings are structured to accomodate everything from basic introductory lockpicking to advanced topics, so there's something for everyone. Check out the Meetings page for more information about upcoming meetings.
