As a member of the Weavers and Spinners Society of Austin, I participated in a triaxial weaving workshop taught by Deborah Harrison on Feb. 2-3, 2008. I fell in love with the technique and entered one of the weavings, "Boxes, Boxes, Boxes," (first image below) in my first-ever fiber artist competition, "Deep in the Art of Texas," sponsored by the Texas Museum of Fiber Arts, May 24-26, 2008 at the Capitol Extension in Austin.
Below are some of the patterns and color combinations I wove using 3/8" satin ribbon.
