Weaving at Ingrid's Handwoven Rugs

There are many looms of different widths at Ingrid's Handwoven Rugs. The warp is a very strong, small diameter, polyester thread. A pneumatic beater provides high pressure to compact the weft yarn into a tight weave. The weaver makes designs by laying in yarns of contrasting colors; measuring, cutting and then tapering the inlay ends to overlap the base color.
