Joey, a rescued wire haired terrier mix licks Siesta's nose at her insistence. Siesta solicits nose licking from all three of our dogs to their intense dislike. They sometimes snap at her and will bite her lips. But she's very persistent.

Glacier's footpads. Llamas have soft pads, much like those of dogs, and toenails that must be clipped if they are not worn off by abrasive terrain. Their pads do less damage to trails than do human hiking boots.
