I handspun llama fiber on a Lendrum spinning wheel then used it for the tablet weavings below. I wove two hatbands (a checklist pattern and a wavy pattern); a belt of chevrons and diamonds; and a wall hanging.

The pattern for the latter is a modification Eve the Just online pattern. It wasn't meant to be modified, but somehow I managed to do so. I probably began the turning sequences one turn too early or too late. However, I like the results and that's what counts. It was quite a challenge to weave because of the tendency of llama yarn to fray and cling to adjacent yarn. At a rate of 15 minutes/inch, the 32" long (excluding fringe) wall hanging took 8 hours to weave. I suspended it on a mistletoe-infested elm branch that had attempted to remodel/repair itself in response to the parasite.
