While studying is an important priority formost members of Laurel House, building and maintaining a sense of community is also an important part of the cooperative living environment. Towards this end, the house sponsors several different events throughout the year to allow members to socialize and build the "cooperative spirit." It's a little idealistic, perhaps, but it generally works out pretty well. For examples, check out the following:
