This is the sun deck. This is another common space where people sometimes socialize and study. Sitting on the swing is especially nice when the weather turns warm. A variety of potted plants are usually placed around the perimeter of the deck and kept alive by volunteers with green thumbs. In the background you can see the tree in the courtyard below and a few of the windows of rooms in 1905.
