About me
I am a doctoral candidate in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Texas (UT) Austin. My advisor is Prof. Sriram Vishwanath. I received my B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras in 2006 and M.S. degree in ECE from UT Austin in 2008.
My industry experience includes the work as
Research Assistant at NEC labs, Princeton, NJ during the summer of 2010,
Interim Engineering Intern at Qualcomm Corporate R&D, San Diego, CA during the summer of 2009,
Consultant at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs, Murray Hill, NJ during the summers of 2008 and 2007, and
See my publications for more details. My research towards my Ph.D. thesis is primarily theoretical with applications to cellular networks, ad hoc networks and other communication networks. Apart from these applied-theory research, I jointly work with other students on implementing/prototyping some of my research.
