Experience:
Jane has been active for many years in providing visists
to both public and private schools. She is well known to many teachers and librarians,
as well as children. Since many children are already familiar with her books,
her visits are occasions of great excitement for them. Jane has a gift for loving
, instructing, and advocating for children, and they instinctively trust and
draw near to her. She inspirationally reads her stories to children of all elementary
school levels (K-5), and talks to them about the stories and the art of writing
. She also has two prepared talks for older children, called "Pizza Writing
for Children" and "The Many Hats of a Writer".
