ARTICLE IN THE WEST AUSTIN NEWS
HECTOR SELECTED AS BEST BOOK BY THIRD GRADE CLASS AT PASEMANN
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Ms. Rozacky's Third Grade Bilingual Class voted for "Hector's
Escapades: First Night Out" as their favorite book for their annual storybook
parade. The students all dressed as bats, and the teachers carried a long banner
with a drawing of the Congress Avenue bridge, while the children carried a banner
that said "Hector's Escapades: First Night Out By Jane Scoggins Bauld".
The Taylor Daily Press carried a spread of photos including one of those shown
below. The other snapshot was provided by the principal, Mr. Tim Crow. Mr. Crow's
letter to Jane is also included below:
