1. The ReBoot icon is composed of the three primitive geometric shapes: circle, square, and triangle. This was pointed out in "Talent Night," where the Primitives audition for Enzo's surprise birthday party.

2. Some zero binomes have tiny dots in their eyes.

3. Whenever Phong appears in a scene we often hear the sound of a bamboo flute. This is reminiscent of the TV series "Kung Fu" where the guru hands out profound but vague advice.

4. The license plate on Bob's car is a barcode.

5. One of Enzo's teachers is named Mrs. Dithers, another is Miss Brodie.

1. In the scene in which the game cube leaves, there's a sign on the building in the background that says "Twice Nightly/Susan Alexander."

1. In the scene on Level 2 where Bob opens the wrong door, his beard and scar are missing.

The Tiff

1. In the opening scene a moving van labeled "Two Small Sprites with Big CPUs" drives by Dot's Diner. This is a parody of a Vancouver moving company called "Two Small Guys with Big Hearts."

2. In the scene in Old Man Pearson's Data Dump where Enzo has just been rescued by Frisket, while Bob is yelling at Dot he says "I mean, when I look up BASEup [should be BASIC] in the dictionary, it's you that I see, Dot!"

3. In the first U.S. airing, in the same scene, the sound drops out when Dot supposedly slugs Bob (this drop-out was dictated by the B.S.&P. censors who apparently considered Dot's action too violent). In the second U.S. airing, the drop-out is replaced by Bob yelling "Ow!"

The Crimson Binome

1. The puppet show in the opening scene is labeled "Punchcard and Qwerty."

2. There's a sign by the docks that says "Commercial Dock & I/O Center."

3. As Dot is boarding Mr. Mitchell's yacht, a One binome gives Mr. Mitchell's wife a box of candy and gets his face slapped.

4. Among the graffiti on the wall in the hold of Captain Capacitor's ship is a drawing of Kilroy, "You are here," "Capacitor is flaccider," "Sit on it," and "I want my MTV."

5. Dot's line "They task me, and I shall have them" is from Moby Dick.

The Great Brain Robbery

1. In the scene where Phong is examining Enzo in the Principle Office, the readout panel on the wall is similar to those in the sickbay of the original "Star Trek" series.

2. In the same scene, the eye chart on the wall consists entirely of yin-yang symbols and dragons.

3. In the same scene, there's what looks like a null in an incubation chamber in the corner of the room.

4. In the kitchen of Al's Wait & Eat there's a box labeled "Implants."

Talent Night

1. In the scene backstage, one binome says to another "Certainly, sir. Would sixty gallons be sufficient?" This is a line from the movie "Forbidden Planet."

2. Johnny O'Binome's joke translates as "Take my wife, please."

3. The large red YTV logo robot can be seen backstage.

4. One of the acts that auditions is the two computer-animated housemovers from the Dire Straits video "Money for Nothing."

5. The vehicle Enzo is driving in the opening game has "Phil's Vehicular Radio" written on it.

6. Just before the guitar duel between Bob and Megabyte, Megabyte turns the volume up on his guitar to 11. This is a reference to the movie "This is Spinal Tap," where one musician thinks his guitar is louder just because his volume control goes to 11 instead of 10.

7. Bob blushes while Dot is singing to him.

8. Captain Quirk's poem is a parody of the Elton John song "Rocket Man."

9. After the break-dancing binomes routine, Mike goes through a door labeled "OUTPUT."

10. When Bob gets ready for the guitar duel he says "Glitch -- B.F.G.," a reference to a weapon in the game DOOM.

Identity Crisis, Part 1

1. We hear a parody of the song "Buffalo Gals" as Bob and Dot stand at the entrance to the Funhouse.

Identity Crisis, Part 2

1. The password to Dot's PID file is "Guardian" (ASCII codes 71 117 97 114 100 105 97 110).

2. In one of Dot's "dream sequences" where Frisket is being led by a viral binome, some of the gold coloring is missing from Frisket's head.

3. The teenage Enzo has a scar across his right eye, the same one that he later loses in "Game Over."

High Code

1. The hang glider Bob uses has "G-808" written on it.

2. There's a crate in Old Man Pearson's Data Dump that has "The Gimp / Keep Closed at all Times" written on it in reverse. This is a reference to a character in "Pulp Fiction."

3. There's a poster on the inside of the door of Old Man Pearson's storage shed that says "Greetings from sunny Kits."

4. The tune that Frisket plays on the instrument in the storage shed is part of the ReBoot theme song.

When Games Collide

1. One of Megabyte's binomes has one foot that's a brick and another that's a pink bunny slipper. His "cubes" are also out of order; the cube with his arms is on top, and the cube with his eye is in the center.

2. The portal that Megabyte builds looks like the one in the movie "Stargate."

Bad Bob

1. Captain Quirk parodies the final scene from the movie "Planet of the Apes."

2. There's a Zero binome wearing a hockey mask that's a parody of a character in the movie "Road Warrior."

3. There's a reference to a faulty interociter in Bob's car. An interociter was a device featured in the movie "This Island Earth."

4. When the two binomes driving the "747 truck" are about to collide with the "Megabyte truck," one says to the other "I think we've bought it!" to which the other replies "Again, sir?" "Again" refers to the scene in the game in Identity Crisis, Part 1" where the same two binomes accidentally blow up their own plane.

5. Dot consults with a binome outside the Principle Office called Number One that talks like Sean Connery.

Painted Windows

1. Among the artists represented in this episode are Haring, Mondrian, Warhol, Picasso, da Vinci, and Rodin.

AndrAIa

1. The two binomes that Bob yells at in the Diner after the game are parodies of Captain Kirk and Captain Picard from "Star Trek."

Nullzilla

1. The book Hack and Slash are reading to Nibbles is ABC of Fairytales by M. Conley.

2. Someone has been playing Hangman on Phong's desk blotter, and the solution is "ReBoot."

3. The case that AndrAIa takes the Disruptomatic from is labeled "In case of giant null monster threatening city, break glass."

4. In the scene where Bob is attacking Nullzilla with the Disruptomatic, one of the fleeing binomes is the null-juggling clown from "Talent Night."

5. Slash sings "I don't like L.A." as he and Hack are about to enter Lost Angles.

6. In the scene where Bob, Dot, and Enzo have just put on their uniforms, Bob pulls off his helmet and says "You can't talk in these things!" just as he does when he reappears in "Webriders on the Storm."

7. In the final scene Megabyte refers to Nibbles as "Father."

Gigabyte

1. ABC reversed the previews: the one at the beginning is for "Trust No One"; the one at the end is for "Gigabyte."

2. The name of Mouse's ship is Ship, and it has her symbol on the tail.

3. The vehicle Dot uses to pick up Megabyte has "Welly's Data Retrieval Systems" and "Caution: Motion Overhead" written on it.

4. Gigabyte's first line, "I am become Gigabyte, destroyer of systems," is a modification of Vishnu's line from the Hindu Bhagavad-Gita: "I am become Death, destroyer of worlds."

5. In the scene where Dot and Mouse are returning to the Principle Office with the tear, the energy shield is up even though Phong lowered it only minutes earlier.

6. In the scene where Bob, Dot, and Gigabyte are in the blind alley, Bob says "Glitch -- away!" But in the next shot of Bob, Glitch is shown on his arm. In the shot after that, Glitch is missing.

Trust No One

1. The milk carton Mike holds up during one interview has both "Milk" and "Lait" written on it.

2. There's a translucent ReBoot logo in the bottom right corner of the vid window during one of Mike's interviews.

3. In the scene just after the one in which the mother binome is rocking her baby, the penguin from the movie "The Wrong Trousers" is seen walking down the sidewalk. He also appears in "Identity Crisis, Part 2," and "Web World Wars."

Web World Wars

1. In the battle scene, one binome says to another "I say -- it's the ABCs! They've turned on us!" The other replies "Treacherous dogs!" This refers to ABC's decision not to renew the show for another season.

To Mend and Defend

1. Among the Mainframe employees immortalized on the tombstones in the graveyard are Morgan Ratsoy, "Big Andy" Doucette, Ian Pearson, Phil Mitchell, Walter Hsieh, Gavin Blair, and Bob Buckley (Unplugged). There's also tombstone labeled "Here Lies the Mainframe Joint Venture/An Unholy Alliance."

2. Dot's game character looks like Elvira; Enzo's looks like a zombie of Michael Jackson.

3. Enzo's right eye falls out, the one he later loses in "Game Over." This is the second reference to Enzo's right eye; the first was in "Identity Crisis, Part 2," where there is a scar over it.

4. The tape recorder in the cabin is labeled "Welman," probably a reference to Chris Welman, a Mainframe employee.

5. There's a book in the bookcase in the cabin called A Time to Die.

6. Enzo does the Michael Jackson moonwalk while the User shoots at him.

Between a Raccoon and a Hard Place

1. The sign "Gassy Jacks" in the game refers to a club in Vancouver, British Columbia, where ReBoot is produced. There are also clubs by this name in Portland, Oregon, and Cardiff, Wales.

2. The prospector binome in the game is a parody of Walter Brennan.

3. There's a car in the game with the license plate 28IF, a reference to the album cover for the Beatles' "Abby Road."

4. There are two binomes in the game that look like the man and woman from the painting "American Gothic."

5. There's a manhole cover in the street that has "KSCJ" written on it.

Icons

1. The game in the opening scenes looks like a cross between "Mars Attacks" and "Moonraker."

2. A binome asks "Are you a good User, or a bad User?", a modification of the line from "The Wizard of Oz": "Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?"

4. When a vendor in the bazaar offers AndrAIa a wardrobe upgrade, he holds up a picture that looks like Jeannie from "I Dream of Jeannie."

Showdown

1. The scene depicting the destruction of the Saucy Mare is a parody of the scene in "Star Trek III" in which the Enterprise is destroyed.

2. While Bob and Hexadecimal are dancing, the surround of Bob's icon turns blue, then back to gold.

System Crash

1. In the opening minutes depicting the destruction of Mainframe, among the fleeing binomes are a parody of the rock group KISS, the Elvis impersonator and null-juggling clown from "Talent Night," a parody of "Sailor Moon," the roller-blading waiter from Al's Diner, and Fax Modem and Data Nully from "Trust No One." Fax Modem is holding signs that say "L.A." and "B.C." A binome also runs away from the giant rolling eight-ball, parodying a scene from "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

2. In the opening scene, the pier has "No Diving" written on it.

3. AndrAIa's bike once belonged to Megabyte.

4. Bob's lines "I don't believe in a no-win scenario" and "System...out of danger?" are taken from "Star Trek II."

End Prog

1. The portable toilets in the opening scenes have "MWM" written on them.

2. One of the cookies that Hexadecimal offers Phong is in the shape of Megabyte's binome that has one foot that's a brick and one that's a pink bunny slipper.

3. When everyone is celebrating the rebirth of Mainframe and Matrix lifts AndrAIa into the air, some binomes are chanting "Matrix."

4. The first binome to rematerialize after the rebirth of Mainframe is a parody of Captain Picard from "Star Trek."

5. In the scene where Bob and Dot kiss and the camera pans around, the Tor is back up even though it was deleted only minutes earlier.

6. During the ReBoot Recap Song, when the chorus begins singing "The sprite we knew was gone/he had become a grim aggressor man," one of the backdrops has "Don't roll farther than this!" written on it.
