A deadly Codemaster invades Mainframe looking for an old enemy. Bob, Dot, and Enzo put their lives on the line to defeat him and save an old friend.

Megabyte tries to drain the energy from game cubes to break in to Mainframe's archives. When this causes one game to crash, the User inputs another and the two games merge. Bob and Megabyte are trapped inside, and Bob's programming forces him to save Megabyte.

After Megabyte succeeds in draining the energy from Mainframe's central core, a
"Mad Max" style game descends on the Principle Office. Bob, Phong, and Enzo are sent on a grueling chase to try to retrieve the energy.

Hexadecimal discovers she's a frustrated artist. After breaking in to Mainframe's archives, she causes havoc by tagging the entire city. Bob must travel to her lair to execute an undo command in order to stop her.

Enzo is upset because he has no one his age to play with. After a game cube descends on the diner, he makes friends with a game sprite and helps Bob and Dot win the game, an underwater adventure.

A bizarre creature from the Net infects Hexadecimal. In an effort to protect Mainframe, all the nulls in the city encase her, creating a giant monster. The gang takes it on and the creature appears to be destroyed. But unknown to Bob and the others, the creature escapes and infects Megabyte.

21. Gigabyte 12/23/95

Megabyte, infected in the previous episode, merges with Hexadecimal, creating Gigabyte, a Class 5 virus. Gigabyte tries to gather enough energy to open a portal to the Net. Mouse and Dot capture a tear in an effort to overload him with energy. Bob then uses Glitch to split him back into Megabyte and Hexadecimal, but an unknown third signal appears in the process. 22. Trust No One 12/30/95

Someone -- or something -- is abducting sprites on Level 31. Two streetwise CGI agents, Fax Modem and Data Nully, try to convince Bob that Mouse is the culprit. When Mike nearly becomes the latest victim, Bob gets caught up in the search for the real cause in an
"X-Files" take-off. It turns out to be the creature that infected Hexadecimal in "Nullzilla." Using energy from sprites and binomes, it has now grown into a deadly Web creature. The other Guardians, led by Turbo, attempt to destroy the creature by destroying Mainframe. Bob tries to get rid of their bomb, but it explodes and opens a tear. The creature then uses the tear energy to form a portal to the Web. Voice of Data Nully: Gillian Anderson. Voice of Fax Modem: Scott McNeil.

23. Web World Wars 3/2/96

Mainframe's CPUs scramble to fight off the web spores invading the city. Bob makes Enzo a guardian, and Megabyte builds a device to close the portal. Hexadecimal provides its power, and Mouse is in charge of erasing Mainframe's location on the Web. Megabyte's lust for power gets the better of him, however, and he traps Bob, sends him through the portal, and uses the device to close it behind him. He and Hexadecimal prepare to use it to destroy the Principle Office and take over Mainframe, but Guardian Enzo takes charge.

24. To Mend And Defend 3/15/99

Chaos is the order of the day with Bob missing and Dot and Enzo leading the forces of Mainframe against Megabyte and Hexadecimal. A game cube descends just as Hexadecimal tries to destroy the Principle Office, and she is badly injured. Dot and Enzo team up with
zombies to try to win the game (Malicious Corpses) and save what's left of Mainframe in a tribute to "The Evil Dead."

25. Between a Raccoon and a Hard Place

Megabyte tries to turn the inhabitants of Mainframe against Guardian Enzo. After a sector is nullified by losing a game, Enzo, with help from AndrAIa, proves he's capable of defending the city by winning a whacky, cartoon-style game whose villain is a hyperactive raccoon.

26. Firewall

Enzo and AndrAIa win a game in which the User is a Santa Claus. As they recap the play-by-play, Megabyte tells them that he plans to enslave the inhabitants of Mainframe. Mouse comes up with the idea of constructing an inverted firewall around Megabyte's sector, and Phong and Hugh Branch (a one binome) begin work on it just as a game cube drops. Enzo reboots into a James Bond, AndrAIa into a biker girl, and they both must try to escape from a "Toy Story"-style room before the User. The game is won with help from Cyrus, and Enzo uses Glitch to activate the firewall.

27. Game Over

Megabyte convinces Hexadecimal, now recovered from her injuries, to use her energy to try to bring down the firewall. After opening a rift in it, Megabyte sends troops to attack the Principle Office. The forces of Mainframe put down the attack, but only after many viral binomes are lost. The rift closes, and Megabyte begins work on a firewall disruptor. A game cube descends, and Enzo and AndrAIa battle the User in a series of tournament-style jousts in a floating arena. An entire sector is nullified when the User wins, leaving Enzo's and AndrAIa's fate a mystery.

AndrAIa and Matrix battle the User in a space shoot-out. After they win the game, they land in a system on its last legs. They convince five sprites and binomes to go with them into the next game to teach them how to work together to win. The game is Kron the Destroyer, and they must stop the User from stealing the Gold Tooth of Sysop. The game is won, and AndrAIa and Matrix leave the inhabitants to make plans to rebuild their city. AndrAIa and Matrix arrive in system resembling a Middle Eastern city that has ports to the Net. Three Guardians appear and try to capture Matrix. Turbo warns him that they are working for Daemon, who has infected all the Guardians except Bob and Matrix. AndrAIa and Frisket delete the three Guardians. Matrix decides to leave and try to find Bob as soon as possible, and a former enemy makes a surprise appearance.

32. Return of the Crimson Binome

Capacitor agrees to help Matrix look for Bob on the Web if Matrix will get the crew of the Saucy Mare out of jail. Matrix frees them, along with Ray Tracer, a web surfer, with the help of AndrAIa and Frisket. The Mare must then fight her way out of port.

33. The Edge of Beyond

Ray Tracer guides the Saucy Mare to the Edge of Beyond, where the crew clads her with the skins of dead web creatures as a shield in the Web. AndrAIa is attacked and seriously injured by a web creature. The Mare enters the realm of the Web, where the webriders are waiting for them.

As AndrAIa's condition is worsening, Matrix transfers some of his energy to her. The crew fights off a wave of web riders, but they mount a second attack and board the ship. One of them turns out to be an old friend who saves AndrAIa.

Everyone celebrates Bob's return with a raucous party on the Saucy Mare. However, the ship becomes caught in an energy trap set by Mouse as it heads back for Mainframe. It escapes the trap only to be attacked by pixels. Bob, Ray, and the web riders (degraded sprites) fend them off. Bob and Glitch merge, and Bob leads the ship into Mainframe through a portal.

36. Megaframe

Bob, Matrix, AndrAIa and Capacitor make it back to Mainframe, only to find every sector has been nullified. Megabyte now controls the city from the Principle Office. Bob, Dot, Matrix and Mouse are reunited. Megabyte reconnects the city to the Net by creating a portal using access codes extracted from Phong. Hexadecimal then kidnaps Bob.

Matrix and Mouse lead the pirates in an attack on the Principle Office. Hexadecimal releases Bob after he de-fragments her head. Matrix and Megabyte go head to head in a final showdown, Matrix defeating Megabyte in the end. Megabyte is pulled into the Web, and Mainframe begins shutting down.

Bob convinces Matrix to allow Mainframe to crash, hoping that it will restart. After a game cube leaves, the city undergoes a complete system crash. The User does a restart, and Mainframe is totally reborn. Megabyte's viral binomes are emancipated and his Tor deleted. Bob and Dot kiss (finally!), and "boy" Enzo reappears. Finally, binomes present a
recap of Season 3 in a zany spoof of "The Pirates of Penzance." Voice of young Enzo: Christopher Gray.
