The X-35 features a CdS photocell and a switch that allows pictures in the range of 2 - 6 feet, and beyond 6 feet. A red LED glows in the finder when flash must be used. It also has a magicube socket and tripod socket. The slower shutter speed is selected when a magicube is attached, and a red warning appears in the finder when a used magicube bulb faces forward. This particular camera was made in December of 1970, making it an early example of this model.
