This camera features automatic exposure by means of a CdS cell, zone focus, tripod socket, flashcube socket, and automatic film speed sensing (64/160 ASA). A small dial on top of the camera indicates when to use flash. The lens ring is threaded for 34 mm filters. The lens and shutter appear to be the same ones used on the Bell & Howell Autoload 340, which was also made by Canon. One variant had a black plastic tab on the film advance lever, instead of the gray one on this example. It would seem the production run was begun using the black tab and later switched to the gray, as the serial number of the camera with the black one is 106296, while that of this camera is 161271.
