A requirement for sponsorship by the Travis County Medical Society was the writing and publication of an article about HCMP.  The article was one of the challenges given to the nine interns in the fall of 2000.  Based on a collaboration of interns and coordinators, an article was written and submitted to Melissa Slocum at TCMS.  The article was published in the November/December issue of the Travis County Medical Society Journal in 2000.  Members of TCMS include ninety percent of the physicians in Travis County.  The purpose of the article was to promote HCMP and the sponsors of the program.  A preceptor form was included with the article.  If you are a doctor who is interested in being a preceptor, please download a copy of the preceptor form and submit it to our address.
