Visual Anthropology / Techniques of Visual Representation
The goals of this course are to look at visual communication in many different contexts and to analyze how ‘everyday’ images influence our construction of a shared reality and how we interpret others’ behavior. Each student participates in two small research projects collecting and analyzing ‘everyday’ visual images.
