Rex W. Douglass is an undergraduate research assistant and student in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin.

Rex is currently working on several issues in the field of international relations. He is presently conducting  research for a historical analysis of the policies of the United States and Britain towards nuclear nonproliferation during the Cold War. He is also working on creating statistical models that can be used to model the causes of anti-Americanism over time in order to generate a general theory of state influence in the world, regarded in the international relations literature as "Soft Power."

Rex is available for hire to provide research assistance for political science and history related projects, especially statistical data gathering and analysis and archival research and digitalization.

He also provides computer and network maintenance and repair to businesses in Austin and central Texas.

His other interests include software development, inventing, digitization and management of archival material, and playing the piano.
