On this short strip of Austin's "drag," multiple businesses, local and national alike, compete for consumer attention with neon signs and brightly painted surfaces. I documented this highly commercialized city block in eight vibrant images containing only colors sampled from signage. The brief video, a commentary on the disposability of commercial society, adapts the feel of a television advertisement and shows these images being tossed away into the space.
