Pieces of Song organizes the various sections of songs stuck in my head throughout the mornings of February 2006. Using the form of a boxed CD set, this archiving system treats the song fragments as text fragments; each track of text falls under the category of noise, imagery, observation, confession, question, or imperative. Dates replace track numbers, pie charts quantify categories, and graphs display dates for each song piece that was caught in my head.
