Opening Saturday, October 7, Creative Research Laboratory presents All Together Now featuring recent work by alumni from the Department of Art and Art History curated from the Alumni Slide Registry at the CRL.

All Together Now includes works that take a spirited and at times sarcastic look at the discussion of unity and conformity. This mischievous show features local artists Jennifer Chenoweth, Leona Scull-Hons, Carolyn Porter, and Candace Briceño as well as far away favorites such as Jonas Criscoe, Ruth Stanford, Matthew Langland, Heather Cook, Julie Weitz, Warren Craghead, and Terri Bright. Working through multiple medias and across the country these eleven artists investigate ideas of community, the process of art making, politics, and self-identity.

Not all of the artists that sent images for the Alumni Slide Registry could be included in this year’s exhibition. We are compiling alumni to form an on-line registry through the CRL. To learn more about the registry and how to become a part of it, please visit our website:

Creative Research Laboratory presents a year-round schedule of exhibitions of work by students and faculty at the University of Texas at Austin, and facilitates workshops, performances, demonstrations, seminars and collaborations.

Creative Research Laboratory is located in East Austin at 2832 East Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, inside Flatbed World Headquarters. There is ample free parking and bus service available on Capitol Metro's route 18. Creative Research Laboratory is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The activities of the Department of Art and Art History and the Creative Research Laboratory are free and open to the public.
