The Riddle I Think I Solved, 2000

This piece began as a small watercolor, liberating my sentiments at the time; however, it appeared too small to express itself. To work out this issue I painted a larger one, and then an even larger one, but it still seemed undersized. Finally, I embraced the dimension of four by eight, and the size finally seemed to match the expression of the painting.
