Opening Thursday, October 6, Creative Research
Laboratory presents Framework, an exhibition of recent
work by faculty artists in Studio Art and Design in the
Department of Art and Art History at the University of
Texas at Austin. A reception will take place from 6 to 9 p.m.
at the Creative Research Laboratory. The exhibition will continue through October 29.
Framework showcases works by Thelma Coles, Sarah Canright, Lee Chesney,
Janet Kastner, Susan Whyne and Fred Woody.
Creative Research Laboratory presents a year-round schedule of exhibitions of work by students and faculty at the University
of Texas at Austin, and also facilitates workshops, performances, demonstrations, seminars and collaborations.
Creative Research Laboratory is located in East Austin at 2832 East Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, inside Flatbed World
Headquarters. There is ample free parking and bus service available on Capitol Metro's route 18. The activities of the Department
of Art and Art History and the Creative Research Laboratory are free and open to the public.
