The Reversible Chair, Fall 2004
senior project

My initial goal of this project was to create a chair that flips. The reversible chair can be used both right side up and upside down. In making the chair the issue of contrast became more important than reversibility. The chair embodies contrast; wood v. steel, lines in the structure v. organic lines in the wood grain, dark wood of walnut v. lightness of maple.
