clear acrylic, silk screened personal CD collector

Since music is a huge part of my life, I decided to create a personal project that would act as storage device for my five most inspirational albums. Each panel is screened with a different angle of my head or face, and as you peer inside, you can see the albums that are most important to me at that time. The cube was screened using only the process colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) to reiterate the quintessential nature of the albums. Just as these colors are important to printers, these albums are that essential to me. You can remove the lid to browse through the albums that are contained within. In a way, I'm giving a part of myself away to the viewer, as I'm intimately opening my inner self to them by showing them the sound track to my heart and mind.
