Bee Slippers and Tie to Fly, Fall 2003

I love little kids and am very inspired by learning tools that also encourage fun. I designed these slippers for children to wear around their homes. The top of the slippers have shoe laces attached that will encourage the child to begin learning to tie their shoe laces. The slippers are accompanied with a story book which shows the steps of tying a shoe lace. My goal was for the combination of slippers and story book to teach children how to tie their shoes while also having a fun learning experience.
