The series of pieces I have been working on since 2003 is entitled "Suicide Project." Each individual work is a kind of body/machine: a self-contained system, a hybrid of flesh-like and mechanical elements. In each work the mechanical elements metaphorically suggest functions related to basic human experiences, processes and drives: the death drive, birth, lactation, insemination, and incubation.
