This polemic project hopefully sheds light on the existence of
stores that sell cutting edge clothing at dirt-cheap prices
made with dirt-cheap quality. No matter what image these
stores attempt to present, if the core intent of these
companies is to sell trendy clothing that fit in with the fleeting
notion of fashion, it seems as though they might as well not
waste their time or efforts with fabric or materials typically
associated with making clothing. My goal is to mock the
disposability of the clothing from these stores via material
choice, method of production, and garment labels.
