Versa Handbags
Fall 2003

This project was done over an entire semester my senior year. I intially started out trying to design the ultimate handbag, and then realized that I had designed a multifunctional/ multipurpose handbag. The bag can be used in a casual setting and can "tie-up" into a more formal, smaller purse. I also designed the pattern on each bag, which was all the different words for change, in order to reinforce the idea that the bag does change. I also wanted the owner to evoke thoughts of change whenever the bag was carried.
