Simple Machines
Spring 2003

A series of 6 posters created to illustrate how 6 basic simple machines work. The posters were done in an early modernist style, with a heavy emphasis on grid systems. I began by creating a text/image relationship between the title of each machine and its most basic form. The grid systems, in turn, created themselves.
