Project Abstract:

The main purpose of the project is to create a chip seal that allows cars to slow down when stopping at a certain point. Because chip seals contain layers of aggregate chips, the method can only be used in low traffic roads.

The purpose of the project leads to other goals:

-Higher customer satisfaction

-Ability to make better, more informed decisions

-A more appropriate use of maintenance techniques

-Improved pavement conditions over time

-Increased safety

-Reduced overall maintenance costs

The only procedure I need to show complete knowledge and ability to repeat each goal before moving on to the next goal. Therefore, I have not restricted myself to a particular efficiency goals at this time of research. If I can do all the things I would make the work a success.

As a result, the chip seals have the ability to increase friction and therefore, increase the safety of drivers, and I am going to work on how chip seals not only can be used in low speed roads, but also how can it be used for airplanes in airways for my future research.
