• Holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin (May 2000).
  

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin.
  

Academic Interests
Kelly’s general interests lie in the fields of Conservation Biology, Evolutionary Biology, and Ethics. More specifically, Kelly is interested in the ‘Conservation vs Animal Liberation’ and ‘Realism vs Relativism’ debates.

Current Projects

• Co-writing (with Sahotra Sarkar) a book titled, The Emergence of Conservation Biology.
  

• Writing a historical timeline of the most important dates in the development of Conservation Biology. This timeline will be published on the internet for the American Museum of Natural History.
