I request your help on an organization I am starting. I am assembling a team of like-minded researchers from diverse scientific and engineering fields to create a community to help students; particularly female students succeed in fields like energy research. Timely developments in these fields are critical for the world now. Even now I see comparatively fewer female students working in these fields. I hope by starting a support network I can help more students become aware of opportunities and find the motivation to succeed.

Right now I have started this effort on a small scale, but would really hope to expand it. I can now mentor students (by skype, phone, email) so as to groom them, answer their questions, help them in any way possible.
