Hi, my name is Brian Gu. I'm currently attending the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Business. This first semester has been hectic. I'm taking psychology, micro economics, calculus, rhetoric, and also LDCI. Even though the classes are tough, and college schedules are just a mess, I still take my time to hang out with friends, help others to study, and work out; just because school work's not everything. I'm originally from Beijing China, moved to US in 1995 at age 11. This move from one culture to another has shaped my life greatly. In ways such as learning new language, develop new relationships and laugh and cry as life goes on. The toughest part of growing up in two different culture, well, growing up is tough period. But by far the toughest would be look past the cultural differences and accept the situation that I will be facing. As for future career plans, I would either go major in Finance, or Marketing and work for corporations that offers me the opportunity of working abroad, pin-pointing China and Japan. I would like to work abroad because I love the Asian culture, and since I have a strong background in there language and culture, I have a strong advantage. Well, smile, take a look at this fellow:
