What do I do ?

I'm a Systems Analyst at the University of Texas at Austin.
(Pretty fancy title huh ?)

I work in the Departmental Services group of the Computation Center, oh wait, that's ACITS (Academic Computing and Instructional Technology Services). I'm actually based at the Law School's Computer Information Center (CIC).

I manage and and supervise the CIC, which provides computer software and hardware support for the Law School. Basically, if it has anything to do with computers, we do it.

I'm originally from Colombia. I was born in a small town called San Gil which is in the northwest part of the country. We lived there for several years and then my parents moved to New York. After New York, we moved to Houston and that's where my parents and my brother still live.

After high school, I went to the University of Florida but transferred to the University of Texas (UT) after three semesters. I received a BS in Mathematics at UT in 1993.
