This is the personal home page of Roger Banks. I live and work in Austin, Texas. There is stuff here about me, my family, and my interests. As you can see it's under contruction. I would like to add a few pictures and interesting details eventually. Until then, what you see is what you get.

I graduated with a BS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2001.
Oh yeah, I attended Reagan High here in Austin, class of '82. Any alum visting this page are expected to email me!
Since 1982 I've worked as a Technical Staff Assistant for UT at in the Advanced Sonar Group at the Applied Research Laboratories. In 1998 I transfered to the Information System Laboratory here at ARL. My new job title became Computer Programmer.Most of my time was spent on client/server applications involving oracle databases. My job responsibilites also include web page design and software development using Visual C++ and documentation using Visual UML. Since graduating, my new title is Engineering Scientist Associate. I do pretty much the same stuff but now I can't get overtime. One of my new tasks has been requirements mangement using Rational's Requisite Pro.
I'm into scuba diving , computers, investing, Model Rocketry, Geocaching, and Amateur Radio.

My father keeps the family genealogical data. He uses a genealogy program called Gene and the HTML conversion is done by another program called Sparrowhawk.
