Roger's Genealogy

My father has gotten me interested in genealogy. What began as a passing interest in the software and database aspects of genealogy has become a true obsession. Although Banks is my surname, my family names include, Mattingly, Starr, DuBois, Brand, Hays, Stovall, and Laws. Our database has grown to nearly 4,000 direct relations and is linked to other databases of family name containing over 19,000 entries.

Gene - Macintosh based genealogy software. Clean, efficient, worth every penny.
Lifelines - unix based genealogy software. For those really big databases
ged2html - creates all those html files you were just looking at.
Sparrowhawk - same thing, only for Macintosh.
I am in the process of evaluating a new genealogy package called GEDitCom. I'll let you know what I think later.
