- One source reports Sarah was born in 1771 and deceased in 1854 in Nelson County, Kentucky. - No explanation is available as to how Sarah could have been born in 1765 or 1771, yet her parents were not married until 2-19-1776. - Mattingly Genealogy reports the name as "Sarah Catherine Fowler", as does William Mattingly. Still other sources report the name as "Catherine Sarah" or "Sarah C.". - Per Mattingly Genealogy, on the marriage record this person is referred to as "Sally", her preferring the given name "Catherine" in later years. - Melissa T. Alexander along with others report that Sarah Catherine was born in 1771 and deceased in 1854 in Nelson County, KY. - William Mattingly reports that Sarah was not found on the US census of 1850, indicating her decease at least before that year. - Many sources report that Sarah's father was Charles Fowler, b. bef. 1765 in MD.
