- Known as "Roger Joe Banks" but his mother in the last few days of her life, told him that she really had named him "Joseph Roger Banks". However, after he had reached adulthood Roger found that a birth certificate under this or any other name, had never been recorded. So, Roger had one recorded for "Roger Joe Banks", the name he had been known under as far back as he knew; the only sworn statement required being that of older sister, Ocie, that Roger was a male child born to their parents on the reported birth date. - No known relation to Valton Gay Banks. - Baptist faith. - farmer/State highway department employee.
